Astro Bologna 240 Wall Washer

The Astro Bologna 240 Wall Washer is a plaster interior wall light by Astro. Its pared-back, cylindrical form and architectural finish make it a purposeful choice for corridors, living spaces and considered interiors where a calm wall wash is required.

Formally, the Bologna 240 is an upright hollow cylinder mounted on a small rectangular block that offsets the body from the wall. The design is strictly minimal there are no visible screws or decorative hardware and the plaster surface is supplied in a matte white that can be painted to match or contrast with the surrounding wall.

Constructed from a smooth plaster material, the fitting presents a seamless, monolithic face that reads as an integrated part of the wall. The paintable finish allows on-site colour matching for bespoke schemes without losing the fixtures architectural intent.

Light is emitted through open apertures at the top and bottom to create two symmetrical, fan-shaped washes above and below the unit. This bi-directional distribution produces balanced ambience and subtle shadow for vertical surfaces, making it effective for emphasising texture or providing gentle circulation light.

The Bologna 240 is designed for fixed, hardwired wall installation and is rated IP20 for dry interior environments. The product carries a three-year manufacturers warranty; for lamp, driver or dimming details consult the technical specification provided with the product.
