The Tala Sphere IV Globe Bulb is a decorative LED globe from Tala. Part of the Sphere IV approach, this oversized spherical bulb is designed to be both a source of light and a considered design element in exposed fixtures.

Its deliberately large, perfectly spherical form is rendered in matte white glass to give a frosted, non-reflective surface that reads as a soft, architectural presence. The base is metal with a brasscoloured finish which provides a subtle contrast to the white globe.

Manufactured with a smooth, matte glass exterior, the Globe diffuses light evenly across its surface so filaments and hotspots are not visible. The scale and finish make the bulb a feature in pendants, open shades and exposed lamp designs.

Light is delivered by advanced LED engineering: the fitting offers DimtoWarm behaviourshifting to a warmer colour as it is dimmedand is designed for flickerfree dimming across the range. The product carries a high colour-rendering index (CRI 95), helping materials and finishes appear accurate under its light.

The Globe is fitted with a standard E27 screw base for straightforward installation into E27 lampholders. It is supplied as a self-contained decorative LED bulb; check dimmer compatibility on projects to ensure full DimtoWarm performance. A 23 year manufacturer warranty is provided.

At Lighting Design Online we present the Tala Sphere IV as a design-led choice: it combines considered form with technical refinement so the result feels intentional rather than incidental. Our recommendations focus on the right outcome for the roomclarity on finish and dimming behaviour, professional assurance on specification, and practical support for project-friendly integration.
