Quintiesse Pearson 1-Light Wall Lantern

Quintiesse Pearson 1-Light Wall Lantern is an outdoor wall lantern from the Pearson range by Quintiesse. The lantern pairs a vertical metal backplate with a clear cylindrical glass shade and is specified for exterior wall use with IP44 protection.

The design is deliberately architectural: a sleek rectangular backplate supports a central glass cylinder held by cast circular end caps. Cast symmetrical end caps give a balanced, heritage-industrial silhouette. The fitting is available in Textured Black and Burnished Bronze finishes.

Materials and build are straightforward and robust. The lantern is formed from rigid metal and clear glass; the metal components show a burnished bronze appearance with an aged texture and the glass is a simple, unobstructed cylinder. The product is supplied with a 3-year anti-corrosion warranty (excludes locations within 5 miles of the coastline).

Light is delivered from a single central socket at the base of the glass cylinder. The fitting accepts 160W E27 or an LED equivalent; lamps are not included. The clear glass leaves the bulb visible, so a tall vintage tubular Edison-style lamp is recommended to complement the scale and show the filament detail.

Installation is direct to a flat wall via the integrated backplate. The lantern is IP44 rated for exterior use; because no lamp is supplied, check lamp and dimmer compatibility when specifying LED equivalents and choose a compatible dimmable lamp and driver if dimming is required.

At Lighting Design Online we position this Pearson lantern as a considered choice for exterior schemes where clarity and period-inspired detail matter. Its simple form, clear glass and durable finish make specification straightforward; combined with IP44 protection and the anti-corrosion warranty, it offers assurance and project-friendly performance for residential and architectural exterior lighting.
