Design For The People Nexus Pendant, designed by Bonnelycke MDD for the Nexus range, is a pendant ceiling light that channels Nordic restraint into a functional downlight. The fixtures tapered, parabolic silhouette and concealed suspension give a calm, uncluttered presence above tables and circulation zones.

The pendants form emphasises a seamless transition between shade and cord and a wide bottom aperture that directs light downwards. It is offered in Black and White finishes, each with a satin matt surface that keeps reflections minimal and the profile discreet.

Constructed around a rigid metal shade, the Nexus includes a carefully placed enclosed acrylic insert that acts as the diffuser, softening output and shielding the lamp from direct view. The build underlines the ranges focus on clean lines and understated detailing.

Light is delivered as controlled, downward-directed task or accent illumination. The internal diffuser produces an even field of light with reduced glare, making the pendant suited to focused tasks or clustered over dining and island locations where balanced ambience is required.

The Nexus accepts a GU10 lamp (PAR16/GU10 compatible) and becomes dimmable when used with a dimmable GU10 lamp and a compatible control. Mounting is by single-point suspension, allowing height adjustment at install. The fitting is rated IP20 and intended for indoor, dry zones.
