New Arrival Astro Mashiko Ceiling Light

The Astro Mashiko Ceiling Light is a surface-mounted bathroom ceiling fitting from the Mashiko range by Astro, offering a modern Art Deco take on a compact, architectural ceiling luminaire. Its low-profile, square form is intended for ambient illumination in bathrooms and other small rooms.

The design uses symmetrical, layered square geometry with a central underside motif and integrated white translucent glass panels on the base and sides. It is available in Polished Chrome and Bronze finishes to suit different schemes.

Constructed from metal with glass diffuser panels, the Mashiko shows careful detailing such as visible fixings and a reflective metal frame. The fitting is Class 2 double-insulated and comes with a three-year manufacturer warranty.

Light is delivered multi-directionally through the side and bottom glass panels to give wide, even coverage useful as a principal light in small spaces or grouped for larger rooms. The fitting accepts two E27 lamps (60W maximum each) and includes an integral electronic ballast.

Installation is straightforward: the Mashiko sits flush to the ceiling and is IP44 rated, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. Refer to product paperwork for mounting details and lamp specification when specifying.

At Lighting Design Online we treat the Mashiko as a considered choice for compact bathroom ceilings: the clean geometry and reliable IP44 performance make it straightforward to specify, while our project support and product clarity help ensure the right outcome for both domestic and professional schemes.
