The design reads as a vertical cylindrical bloom a subtle reference to the figo plant with a white base and grey/tan marbled veining on the glazed ceramic. Brass metalwork and a thin circular disc separate the ceramic body from the socket; metal finishes are available in Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black, Polished Brass and Satin Brass.

Construction combines hand-formed ceramic with a metal socket assembly and a brass cord grip at the cable entry. Each ceramic shade is made by hand, so surface pattern, texture and exact dimensions will vary slightly from piece to piece, which adds to the character of the fitting.
