The Artemide Demetra Desk Lamp, designed by Naoto Fukasawa, is a compact desk and table lamp from the Demetra family intended for focused task lighting in homes, hospitality and small workspaces. Its pared-back silhouette and directional performance make it appropriate where precise, comfortable illumination is required.

The design pairs a thin, flat circular base with a slender diagonal arm and a matching circular lamp head to create a balanced, architectural form. This Demetra micro is offered in Opaque Black, White and Anthracite Grey to suit a range of interior schemes.

Construction emphasises an ultra-slim profile: a low, stable base supports a cantilevered arm with a pivot joint and a hinged, recessed head. The result is a minimal, geometric aesthetic with a neat power cord exiting near the base pivot.

Light is delivered from an integrated source within the thin disc head, producing a warm tone with very high colour rendering (CRI 90) for accurate colour and comfortable task illumination. The recessed emitter and adjustable head provide controlled directionality and reduced glare suitable for desk work, bedside use or hospitality tables.

Practical notes: dimming is handled by a microswitch located on the lamp head for simple ondevice control. The fitting is rated IP20 for indoor use and comes with a 5 year manufacturer warranty. The integrated LED means there is no replaceable lamp to fit; consult technical details for mounting and cable routing on desks.
