Hinkley Republic Medium Pedestal Pier Light

The Hinkley Republic Medium Pedestal Pier Light is a pier-mount outdoor lantern from Hinkleys Republic range. Presented as a modern take on a traditional lantern, it pairs a metal outer frame with an inner glass chamber and is intended for mounting atop columns, pedestals or fence posts.

Design-wise this piece uses a frame-within-a-frame composition: a rectangular open metal cage surrounds a clear seeded glass lantern. The unit is finished across metal surfaces in matte black and sits on a square, tiered pedestal base, emphasising clean geometric proportions.

Construction combines clear seeded glass panels with a robust external frame; the seeded glass has visible air inclusions that give a textured appearance and help to diffuse the bulbs glow. The outer open frame provides visual depth without materially obstructing light output.

Light is supplied by a single E27 lamp (not included). The internal glass enclosure protects the lamp from the elements while the vertical proportions suit elongated decorative bulbs. The fitting is IP44 rated for outdoor use and is supplied without a transformer or driver.
