Flos Oblique Table Lamp

The Flos Oblique Table Lamp is a professional table lamp from Flos, designed by Vincent Van Duysen. Its minimalist silhouette and refined proportions suit offices and considered home workspaces where focused task light is required.

The form pairs a flat circular head with a matching circular base on a slender cylindrical stem, creating a restrained architectural profile. The lamp is offered in Glossy Grey, Glossy Sage, Matt Brown, Matt Rust and Matt White.

Oblique is constructed in metal with a high-quality lacquered or powder-coated surface and smooth reflective finishes. The overall build and detailing reflect Van Duysens pared-back, material-led approach.

Patented asymmetric optics shape the beam to deliver specialised light distribution, producing lighting values on the work surface greater than 1000 lux while maintaining high glare protection and minimal flicker. The integrated top LED is specified at 8W, 479 lm, 2700K with CRI > 90 and a 35 beam, directing warm, highCRI light downwards for precise task illumination.

An external power supply is included with a 1500mm cable; driver input is 24 V. A USBC connection is integrated into the base to recharge compatible devices, and an ON/OFFdimmer switch with timer is built into the base. The fitting is rated IP20 and intended for indoor, dry locations; it carries a two-year warranty.

At Lighting Design Online we present the Oblique as a considered choice for workspaces where clarity and ambience matter. Our recommendations focus on finish, placement and dimming compatibility so you can specify with professional assurance and enjoy a durable, technically coherent outcome.
