Flos Bilboquet Table Lamp

The Flos Bilboquet Table Lamp, designed by Philippe Malouin for Flos, is a compact, adjustable table lamp that pairs cylindrical forms with a polished spherical joint. The design is intended for directed task or accent lighting, offering a focused beam from a recessed light source.

Bilboquets form language is minimalist and geometric: a vertical base and a horizontal head intersect at a mirrorlike pivot sphere. The body shows a dense ribbed texture and a visible coloured cable that follows the lamps aesthetic. The collection is available in Tomato, Sage and Linen.

The lamp body is produced from a distinctive pigmented polycarbonate made from a paperproduction byproduct, while the central joint and treated mechanical components use specially treated steel with a protective PVD coating. The assembly is gluefree and ISCC compliant to simplify future separation and recycling.

Light is delivered from an integrated LED set behind a transparent lens in the recessed head, with the spherical joint enabling tilt and rotation so the beam can be directed precisely. The lamp is intended for indoor use (IP20) and suits desks, bedside tables and focused accent positions.

Practical details include a 2metre power cable that can be routed and locked via a slit in the lamp base. The product carries a twoyear manufacturers warranty. Dimming and driver details are not specified in the supplied product data.
