The Elstead Provence Pendant is a single pendant ceiling light from Elstead’s Provence range, inspired by mid1900s French bistro and caf fittings. The design suits direct, downward illumination above dining tables, kitchen islands and similar task areas, and is constructed for interior mains voltage use (220240 V, 50 Hz).

Formally the fitting uses a wideaperture conical shade and a stepped cylindrical socket housing to create a clean, geometric silhouette. The pendant is offered in Polished Nickel, Old Bronze and Aged Brass, allowing straightforward coordination with a range of interior finishes.

Despite an aged brass appearance on some finishes, the metal components are constructed from steel and are paired with a matching circular stepped ceiling rose. The shade is suspended from a flexible braided fabric cord that reinforces the range’s vintage industrial character.

The Provence delivers direct downward light and is designed to take a single E27 screwbase lamp (not included), maximum 60W. It is compatible with dimmable lamps when used with a suitable dimmer and dimmable lamp type. The fitting is IP20 rated for indoor use only.

Installation is straightforward: the braided cord can be shortened or lengthened to set the desired hanging height and the pendant mounts to the supplied ceiling rose. No external driver or transformer is required for standard mains lamps; lamps are not supplied. A general 2 year manufacturer warranty applies.
