Elstead Merrill Outdoor Wall Light

The Elstead Merrill Outdoor Wall Light is a wall-mounted outdoor lantern in the Merrill range by Elstead. Its transitional, craftsman-influenced silhouette makes it suitable for providing exterior illumination when fixed to vertical surfaces, and it is specified with an IP44 rating for protection against the elements.

The design uses a rectangular cage-style frame formed by vertical and horizontal bars and is finished with a multi-tiered, flat-roofed cap. A central, internal diffuser sits within the cage to shield the light source. The fitting is supported from a rectangular wall plate by a horizontal arm and a curved decorative support with a Y-shaped cradling detail.

Construction focuses on a protective, lantern-like form rather than exposed lamping. The enclosed cage and tiered cap help shelter the internal diffuser and lamp from direct exposure to weather and debris, while the integrated backplate provides a neat, permanent mounting solution.

The internal diffuser moderates the light to create softened, ambient illumination suitable for porches, entryways and external walls where balanced exterior light is required. The product is offered with a 60W lamp rating; refer to the technical specification for compatible lamp types and fittings.

The Merrill is supplied as a considered exterior lantern for projects that need reliable performance and clear detailing. At Lighting Design Online we focus on helping you specify the right product for the right outcome combining design-led choices with professional assurance and project-friendly notes so the finished exterior feels balanced, durable and right for the architecture.
