Elstead Marant Wall Light

The Elstead Marant Wall Light is a single-light bathroom wall sconce from the Marant range. Finished in a soft champagne bronze and paired with a four-sided, tapered clear hammered glass shade, it is engineered for bathroom use with an IP44 rating.

The design balances a clean, casted metal arm and a vertical rectangular backplate with gently curved edges. The shade sits away from the wall to distribute light; the Marant is available in Champagne Bronze and Polished Chrome finishes and offered with Clear or Opal glass.

Construction combines a robust metal frame and backplate with a pronounced hammered glass shade. The casted arm shows subtle architectural stepping at its junction with the shade holder, adding a quiet decorative detail consistent with contemporary interiors.

The fitting takes a single G9 lamp (example specification: 3W, 3000K LED) and the hammered glass refracts light to create a shimmering, diffused effect suitable for ambient or localised bathroom illumination. The arm geometry reduces direct glare and helps the fixture provide a full-room glow while remaining a considered accent.

Installation is wall-mounted via the vertical backplate; overall footprint is compact (H 237mm W 127mm P 166mm). The fitting is IP44 rated for bathroom zones. The manufacturer lists variable guarantees by model (220 years). The fitting is compatible with dimmable G9 lamps; dimmer compatibility depends on the chosen lamp and dimmer type.

Lighting Design Online approaches the Marant as a practical design decision rather than a commodity. The combination of textured glass and a refined metal arm gives a clear aesthetic intent, and we provide the specification detail and project-friendly guidance you need to select the right lamp, dimming method and finish for your space, helping to ensure a reliable, well-considered outcome.
