Elstead Chartwell Outdoor Wall Light

The Elstead Chartwell Outdoor Wall Light is a candle-style, wall-mounted outdoor sconce from Elstead’s Chartwell range. Made in England, it pairs traditional form with robust metal construction to provide a decorative architectural accent for exterior walls.

The design uses two delicately curved scroll arms that rise from a circular backplate with a fluted, floral-like boss. A shallow, saucer-like bobeche supports an ivory-coloured candle sleeve and a clear, flame-tip bulb for an authentically traditional silhouette against a matte black finish.

Constructed from metal with visible wire-bound arm detailing, the fitting carries a hand-worked appearance that reads like forged iron. The contrasting ivory candle tube and clear bulb emphasise the fixture’s crafted, classical character.

Light is delivered by a candle-shaped (flame-tip) bulb housed within the ivory sleeve and bobeche. The fitting is designed to provide localized, decorative illumination suitable for entrances, porches and other elevation features where a traditional accent is required.

The Chartwell is intended for hardwired wall installation, mounting to a flush circular backplate. Bulb cap type and wattage are specified in the technical details; a general two-year manufacturer warranty is provided. The IP rating is not listed here consult the product specification if the fitting will be used in exposed or wet locations.
