Dar Luther 10-Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Light

The Dar Luther 10-Light Semi-Flush Ceiling Light from the Luther range is a 10-light semi-flush fixture that pairs a dynamic, architectural form with faceted crystal glass shades. It is intended to provide multi-directional ambient illumination for interior living spaces and is suited to rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights.

The design features ten thin, curved metal arms that spiral outwards from a central sphere in a kinetic, vortex-like arrangement, each arm ending in a hexagonal faceted crystal shade. The Luther is offered in Antique Brass, Black Chrome, Polished Chrome and Satin Chrome to suit a range of schemes.

Metal components display a warm, brushed antique brass character on the photographed variant, anchored by a circular ceiling rose and a short vertical stem. The clear, prismatic crystal shades are a jewellery-like detail that contrast the architectural frame.

Ten individual light sources are distributed evenly around the perimeter to deliver wide-reaching ambient light. The faceted shades catch and refract the light, producing decorative patterns on nearby surfaces. The fitting is designed for small, compact lamps such as G9-style bulbs rather than being an integrated LED.

The Luther is a semi-flush mounted fitting, so it sits close to the ceiling and is appropriate where lower headroom is a consideration. It has an IP20 rating and is intended for indoor, dry-zone use. Bulbs are not included; specify compatible G9 lamps and check dimmer compatibility with the chosen lamps and dimmer control. Warranty is 2 years standard, extendable to 5 years with online registration.

Lighting Design Online approaches the Luther as a deliberate design choice: a central fixture that establishes ambience while remaining architecturally composed. We provide practical specification guidance and project-friendly support to ensure the finish, lamping and dimming choices achieve a considered, assured result.
