The Dar Hannover 1lt Wall Light from the Hannover range is a decorative wall-mounted fitting that pairs a retro industrial aesthetic with considered detailing. The design combines a shallow disc shade and a large opal globe to produce a distinctive profile while delivering directed, diffused light for indoor use.

Formally the fitting features a circular mounting plate with a matte black outer ring and a brushed brass central disc, a horizontal brushed brass arm and a disc-like shade. The two-tone palette of matte black and antique brushed brass gives the light a quiet, vintage character without excess ornament.

Construction is straightforward and honest: a visible swivel knuckle joint and small securing screws reference workshop fittings, while the opal glass globe sits beneath the shallow metal shade. The materials observed are matte black metal and textured brushed brass elements paired with an opal glass diffuser.

Light is directed downwards by the wide, flat shade while the frosted globe softens glare and provides even local illumination. The adjustable joint lets you alter the lamp head angle for minor task or accent adjustments, making it appropriate for decorative and directional indoor lighting.

The fitting carries an IP20 rating, suitable for internal spaces only. A standard 2-year warranty is provided, extendable to 5 years with online registration. Specific lamp and dimming details are not stated and should be confirmed at specification.

At Lighting Design Online we present the Dar Hannover wall light as a design-led choice for interiors where texture, balance and a controlled ambience matter. Our guidance focuses on how the fitting will sit in layered lighting schemes, the practical effect of its reflector and diffuser, and straightforward project support to ensure a reliable, considered outcome.
