The Astro Milo 400 Wall Washer from the Milo range is a pared-back wall light designed to deliver atmospheric mood lighting. Its hand-finished ceramic form and restrained silhouette suit modern interiors and are particularly effective in corridors, staircases and dark corners where a gentle wall wash is required.

The fixture presents a horizontal rectangular body with subtly bowed, convex sides that produce a soft, rounded silhouette. The front face is solid and opaque while the top and bottom are open, and the ceramic surface can be painted to match or contrast with the surrounding scheme.

Carefully finished by hand, the Milo 400 uses ceramic construction to give a subtle tactile texture compared with standard metal or plastic fittings. The design is minimalist and symmetrical with no visible external hardware, allowing it to blend cleanly into architectural walls.

Light is delivered in two directions, creating distinct triangular washes above and below the fitting and an architectural V-pattern on the wall. The opaque front face shields the light source from direct view while the open top and bottom shape the illumination; the fitting is intended for flush-mount installation on vertical walls.

For placement the Milo 400 is rated IP20, so it is specified for internal, dry locations only. The product is supplied with a 3 year manufacturer warranty. Technical details such as lamp type or integrated LED are not listed here, so check the full specification or contact us for compatibility and dimming information.

At Lighting Design Online we recommend the Milo 400 when a calm, design-led wall wash is needed. Its paintable ceramic finish and considered form make it straightforward to integrate into a wider lighting scheme, and our team can advise on siting and specification to ensure a confident, project-friendly outcome backed by clear product information and manufacturer assurance.
