The Astro Box Decorative Wall Light from Astro is a pared-back wall-mounted lantern that combines a minimalist box form with practical light delivery. Part of the Box range, this decorative wall light is intended to provide ambient or accent illumination for interior and exterior wall surfaces.

The design is a rectangular, box-shaped frame with thin metal borders and a vertical rectangular backplate. A solid, block-style horizontal arm projects from the backplate to support the lantern, while clear glass panels are inset on the four sides and the bottom to maintain an open, geometric silhouette.

Constructed with a metal frame finished in matte black, the lantern uses clear glass to ensure unobstructed light distribution. The integrated backplate is designed for permanent wall mounting and the product carries a three-year manufacturer warranty.

Light is delivered from a single downward-facing socket mounted to the underside of the top frame; the fitting accommodates one bulb and is shown here with a vintage-style LED filament bulb. The fully transparent enclosure allows light to disperse freely, making the fitting suitable for ambient or accent roles. The product is rated IP23; check suitability for exposed locations before external use.

The Box wall light is a clear example of making the right lighting decision through design-led choices. Its simple geometry, honest materials and practical performance make it straightforward to specify, and our guidance focuses on achieving the intended ambience with professional assurance and project-friendly clarity.
