Artemide Dioscuri Wall/Ceiling Light

The Artemide Dioscuri Wall/Ceiling Light, designed by Michele De Lucchi for Artemide, is a minimalist spherical surface-mounted lamp rendered in acidetched blown glass. It is intended to deliver soft, even ambient illumination and is specified for 220V installations.

The design is deliberately elemental: a clean white sphere with a concealed mounting that sits flush to the surface, creating a subtle floating effect. The fixture is offered for both wall and ceiling installation to suit a range of interior layouts.

The diffuser is made from acidetched blown glass, which gives a matte, uniform exterior that reduces visible hotspots and provides an even luminous surface. The monochrome white finish keeps the form visually quiet and adaptable to contemporary schemes.

Light is emitted through the large spherical diffuser to create balanced ambient atmosphere with soft shadowing rather than direct glare. The lamps translucent glass ensures a consistent spread of light, making it suitable for general illumination in bathrooms and living spaces where a calm, measured ambience is desired.

This version carries an IP44 rating and is supplied for 220V mains. Specifics such as included lamps, integrated LED or driver/dimming compatibility are not stated here check the product details or contact our team for confirmation before specifying.
