Elstead Aries Pendant

The Elstead Aries Pendant is a ceiling-mounted pendant from Elstead’s Aries range. The design pairs a strict geometric square profile with a polished metal frame and a screen of clear, vertical glass crystal prisms to act as a decorative focal in interior spaces.

The fixture uses a tiered, square-shaped frame with prisms arranged in two concentric layers; the inner layer hangs slightly lower than the outer. It is offered in two sizes: Small and Large, allowing selection to suit room scale.

Construction is centred on a high-shine polished metal frame and matching square ceiling canopy, combined with long, slender rectangular crystal prisms. The prisms are faceted at the bottom to catch and refract light. A single, rigid vertical downrod suspends the fitting and keeps the pendant level.

Internal bulb sockets sit within the frame, with bulbs partially visible through the crystal screen. The arrangement of glass prisms scatters and softens light from the internal sources, reducing glare and producing ambient, refracted patterns suited to living and dining spaces or decorative zones.

The canopy includes visible mounting screws for securing to a ceiling electrical box and the rigid downrod fixes the hanging height. The specification does not state whether lamps, LED modules or drivers are included; confirm lamp type and inclusion when ordering. The product carries a general 2-year warranty.

At Lighting Design Online we treat the Aries pendant as a design-first decorative fitting: its geometric clarity and high-contrast materials make it straightforward to locate in a layered lighting scheme. We provide specification advice and project-friendly support so you can be confident about finish, mounting and lamp compatibility to achieve a considered, high-quality outcome.
