The Dar Viking Light Shade is a pared-back accessory from Dar’s Viking range. The shade presents a semi-cylindrical, half-moon profile and is designed for use with wall-mounted fittings where a restrained, architectural presence is required.

Its form is deliberately low-profile and curved, with a flat rear edge to sit neatly against a wall. The open top and bottom create a controlled up-and-down illumination, making it suitable where a balanced wall wash and subtle shadowing are wanted.

Visually the shade has a solid matte-black exterior and a smooth, uniform surface. The structure is rigid and maintains a consistent curved form; the clean front face shows no visible hardware or branding, reinforcing a minimalist aesthetic.

As a shade, it is intended to shield a light source and direct light rather than supply the lamp or driver itself; the product data does not list included bulbs, drivers or specific mounting fittings. The item is sold with Dar’s stated warranty of two years standard, extendable to five years with online registration.

Lighting Design Online positions this shade as a design-led choice for schemes that need clarity and restraint. We offer project-friendly support to confirm compatibility with your existing fittings, helping you specify confidently for a considered, high-quality result.
