Mullan Lighting Bonn Wall Light

The Mullan Lighting Bonn Wall Light is a sculptural wall washer from the Bonn range, formed in unglazed plaster to create a restrained, architectural uplight. Its semicircular profile and clean upper edge present a calm decorative presence while directing light upwards to enhance wall surfaces.

The design centres on a smooth, matte bowl that shelters the lamp within a recessed cavity, reducing glare and offering a soft, even wash of light. The fixture is paintable, allowing it to blend with the surrounding wall or remain a crisp, contemporary white.

Constructed from plaster or ceramic, the Bonn has a tactile, matte finish and a compact footprint of 28cm wide 13cm high 14cm deep. The material choice gives a quiet, crafted look and a surface suitable for paint with standard interior paints.

Light is delivered as an upward, indirect uplight suitable for creating ambient atmosphere in corridors, bedrooms and relaxed living areas. The recessed lamp position softens the beam and emphasises wall texture and depth without visual intrusion.

The fitting requires an E14 lamp, which is supplied separately, and is designed for hardwired installation. Its IP20 rating means it is intended for dry, internal spaces rather than bathrooms or outdoor locations. Warranty covers manufacturer defects only.

At Lighting Design Online we present the Bonn as a considered choice for clients seeking quiet, architectural wall lighting. Our guidance focuses on placement, lamp selection and installation to achieve the intended ambience while ensuring clarity and projectfriendly specification support.
